Khairat Parvazeh went to Prison to Serve his Sentence

Khairat Parvazeh, a Kurdish citizen, was sent to prison in recent days to serve his sentence.

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Khairat Parvazeh, a Kurdish citizen, went to Marivan Prison to serve his sentence on Monday, December 14th, 2020.

Earlier, the Campaign reported that the Marivan Revolutionary Court had sentenced Khairat Parvazeh, a Kurdish citizen, to six months in prison.

Mr. Parvazeh had previously been arrested after being summoned to the Marivan Corps, on June 8th, 2020. He was released in mid-July, 2020.

The charge against this citizen that resulted in prison sentence was “collaborating with a Kurdish party opposed to the Iranian government.”

Khairat Parvazeh, 30 years old and son of Rahman is from the village of “Ney” in the city of Marivan.
